I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OASWSSW). I am currently a doctoral candidate in York University’s School of Social Work, where my PhD research uses an arts-based, collaborative approach of digital storytelling to explore how society can become more inclusive for neurodivergent individuals.
I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent children, youth, and their families, with a particular focus on autism and ADHD. I also work with individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. Collaboration is central to my practice—I work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic, team-based approach that supports meaningful progress.
My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based modalities, including gender-affirming and trauma-informed CBT, DBT, and EFT. I use these approaches to help clients shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, improve emotional regulation, build self-esteem, strengthen social and interpersonal skills, and develop healthier ways of coping.
With a deep respect for the unique challenges and strengths of neurodivergent individuals, I take a strengths-based approach to therapy. I believe that every person holds inherent abilities that can be nurtured to promote growth, resilience, and positive change.
Above all, my priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where children and youth feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to empower my clients to embrace who they are, thrive in their daily lives, and flourish in a world that values and celebrates their individuality.
